Hot Pies
These pies were made famous by my Uncle Duff at his restaurant, "Duff's" on O'Dell Avenue, which he started in 1946. Nothing has changed since then and we still prepare and "wrap" the pies just as he did in the beginning. We blend cheese, make our homemade sauce and dough everyday in house for that original "Duff's" flavor.

Grilled Pizza
What is grilled pizza?
A grilled pizza is a pizza cooked on the grates of our grill directly over an open fire. The grill imparts a slightly smoky, grilled flavor to the crust, giving it a very unique taste. The flavors are more intense and ingredients are used sparsely to help balance the pizza. It also adds a special texture to the crust that is not possible with traditional type cooking methods. Grill marks will be visible and slight charring of the dough adds to its unique flavor. It is not pizza from a wood fired oven. I was fortunate enough to learn this method from two well known chefs, at their restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island. The idea of grilled pizza originated in Florence, Italy, I'm told. I hope you enjoy this pizza as much as we have.
