Hot Pies

These pies were made famous by my Uncle Duff at his restaurant, "Duff's“on O'dell Avenue, which he started in 1946. Nothing has changed since then and we still prepare and "wrap" the pies just as he did in the beginning. We blend cheese; make our homemade sauce and dough everyday in house for that original Duff's flavor.

Grilled Pies

A grilled pizza is dough cooked on the grates of our grill directly over a open fire. The grill imparts a slightly smoky flavor to the crust, giving it a unique taste. The flavors are more intense and ingredients are used sparsely to help balance the pizza. It also adds a special texture to the crust that is not possible with traditional cooking methods. Grill marks will be visible and slight charring of the dough adds to the flavor. It's not pizza from a wood fire oven. The idea of grilled pizza originated in Florence, Italy. I hope you enjoy…
